Bike or Treat | a POGOH Scavenger Hunt & Afterparty

Join us on Halloween for Pittsburgh’s favorite spooky scavenger hunt on two wheels!

Riders will have two hours (1–3 PM) to solve riddles and track down checkpoints around the city, collecting candy, raffle tickets, and a unique Bike or Treat sticker at each stop. Then, head back to East End Brewing for our afterparty from 2–4 PM, featuring games, prizes, and plenty of Halloween fun!

Checkpoint 1

I’m named for freedom, but beware what lurks nearby...

Checkpoint 2:

A famous name appears twice, but don't be confused,

This sprawling green escape is a favorite to be used.

Between two universities, where students roam,

A grand old library stands like a haunted home.

Nearby, a glasshouse keeps flowers blooming all year,

Find this leafy corner to bring your next clue near!

Checkpoint 3:

One street sounds like a plant that climbs,

The other draws shoppers time after time.

Nearby, Jitters keeps the caffeine flowing,

But something shady might be growing...

Find where these two streets meet,

Before the spooky streets sweep you off your feet!

Checkpoint 4:

One street shares a founding father's name,

The other comes after four in the counting game.

In Pittsburgh's East End, where the buses roll through,

Look across from the spot where ginger beer brews!

You've reached your last stop, so give one final cheer,

theres an afterparty at the end so no need to fear!
