Policy Bites – From Clinics to Governance: Scaling Person-Centred Care for Whole-System Transformation
For 15 years, the Gothenburg Centre for Person-Centred Care (GPCC) has built evidence for safer, more effective, and more equitable care from the ground up—together with patients and clinics. Now, the challenge is to connect this bottom-up innovation with top-down governance, shifting financial and structural steering from silos toward whole-system approaches.
This talk will explore both the barriers and the opportunities, making the case that aligning person-centred systems, networks, and partnerships across all levels is the only path to sustainable health systems.
