Per Capita is proud to introduce Policy Hive, a brand new networking opportunity for early career policy professionals, students and anyone interested in learning more about how they can influence policy and politics to build an Australia based on fairness, shared prosperity and social justice. (Long time policy wonks also welcome!)

Don't miss our very first networking event! Wednesday 19 March at The Exford Hotel (upstairs,199 Russell Street, Melbourne) or via livestream. We'll be discussing the housing policies that built a generational housing divide, and will be joined by Emma Dawson from Per Capita and Julijana Todorovic from Labor for Housing. There'll also be plenty of time for mingling and meeting new people.

Julijana Todorovic is a Land Rights Lawyer and the co-founder and co-convenor of Labor for Housing, a nationwide advocacy organisation striving to achieve better and fairer housing party within the Australian Labor Party. Labor for Housing has been instrumental in driving reform in state and federal Labor government policy and plays a key role between the housing sector, the Labor Party membership and Labor governments.

Emma Dawson is Executive Director of Per Capita. She has worked as a researcher at Monash University and the University of Melbourne; in policy and public affairs for SBS and Telstra; and as a senior policy adviser in the Rudd and Gillard Governments. She is a Fellow of the Women’s Leadership Institute of Australia and an Adjunct Professor at the UTS Business School.
