Join this free pollination workshop, where Dr Tim Heard will discuss how to increase the yield of your crops, by boosting the number of native bee pollinators.

Event details:

Are you a landholder in the Greater Sydney region looking to boost your agricultural yield using nature's little helpers? Join this free pollination workshop, delivered by Greater Sydney Local Land Services and Dr Tim Heard.

You’ll learn about:

  • bees, their biology, life cycle, social life, nesting and foraging behaviour

  • flower structure, biology, and pollination of relevant local crops

  • managing your farm agroecosystem to protect and encourage native bees

  • propagation and management of native stingless bee hives on farms.

Although we will endeavour to do our best, please note that registrations after Friday 17 October may not be able to have special dietary requirements catered for.
