Pollinator gardens for schools
Event description
Join us for an afternoon of learning about pollinator gardens, with special guest speaker, Ruby Martin from the
Threatened Species Conservancy. (https://www.tsconservancy.org)
Ruby has developed many pollinator gardens in schools and will share with us how to build them, the
importance of plant selection and how to utilise the garden to create habitats for
local threatened insect and pollinator species.
Ruby will also share with us the work of the Threatened Species Conservancy, an Australian non-profit
organisation, who plan and implement recovery programs for the nation’s threatened plants and animals.
This online session is perfect for teachers and students working towards improving biodiversity on their school grounds.
