Liquid Architecture x Class Actions Collective

Have you ever struggled with money? Worried about housing? Borrowed money just to get by? In times of crisis and uncertainty, how can we imagine new ways to support each other?

Join us for a participatory workshop where we use conversation, storytelling, performance, and sound improvisation to explore lived experiences of poverty and class. Together, we'll rethink how we can connect across different socio-economic backgrounds — and how creative practices can open new spaces for solidarity, understanding, and collective action.

No prior experience with performance or sound-making is needed — just bring yourself, your stories, and an openness to listen and share.

Class Actions is a social art project that explores our shared experiences of class, focusing on work, love, and care during times of change. The workshops are grounded within the artists' personal experiences living through poverty.

The workshops will be open to 10-15 participants. The workshops combine Therese’s practice of Radical Kindness with Hazel’s pre(care)ious score process. Using sound and voice, the workshops aim to highlight the unheard aspects of class that shape our society.

How to Apply: Artists are invited to submit a short written or recorded bio/statement of interest, along with general information about why this topic resonates with you. We look forward to collectively navigating this important conversation around class, culture, and creativity.
