Pongal is a four-day harvest festival dedicated to thanking the Sun God (Surya), nature, and cattle for a bountiful yield. Known as "Thai Pongal," it marks prosperity, abundance, and renewal, with the iconic dish of sweet rice pudding (Pongal) symbolizing overflowing blessings.
