Rachel has been studying belly dance for 10 years and she can’t wait to share her knowledge and passion with you on the dance floor.

Rachel’s Bio:

“Rachel Noel (she/he/they) is a fusion belly dancer and has been studying, creating and sharing art for 25 years. She’s competed and performed at events of all kinds, from community gatherings and galas, to fairs & festivals, all over the Western United States & abroad.

Rachel utilizes her passion for sources of movement & musical inspiration from all over the world, especially pan- African modalities, to create her own embodied style, emphasizing musicality, strength, fluidity & presence.

Rachel believes fusion dance is a powerful way to share her experience as a multicultural person, battle assumptions and blur the boundaries that society has created to separate us as a human family.

Rachel’s holistic approach to teaching is gentle, affirming & lively, keeping authentic movement and mind- body- spirit- music connection as her top priorities. In class, students start where they are and grow over time in a container built with, not expectation, but warm invitation.
