Take a seat and join us for a cuppa, some popcorn, and a free screening of the movie Lion at Manning Library.
Lion is the powerful true story of a young Indian boy who becomes lost far from home and is eventually adopted by an Australian couple. Years later, as an adult, he sets out on the emotional journey to find his birth family. Heartfelt and inspiring, Lion is a moving tale of identity, resilience and the enduring bond of family.
Starring Dev Patel, Nicole Kidman and David Wenham, Lion won two BAFTA Awards and was nominated for six Academy Awards and multiple Golden Globes.
