Event description

You're invited to a very special evening!

Join us on Wednesday 27 August at 5:30pm for a heart-filled poroporoakī, a chance to celebrate Rosalie Nelson, and to officially welcome our new Co-Executive Directors, Elizabeth McNaughton and Shaquille Shortland.

📍 Te Wharewaka Function Centre, Wellington
🕔 Doors open at 5:00pm | Welcome begins at 5:30pm sharp
🕢 Event concludes by 7:30pm
👔 Dress: Business casual

This will be a joyful evening of reflection, reconnection and looking ahead. Whether you're joining us in person or online, we’d love to have you in the room (or on the screen!) as we mark this milestone in the life of the Fellowship. You are also welcome to bring your partner.

In te ao Māori, a poroporoakī is more than a farewell; it's a ritual of transition and gratitude. A moment to steady the waka, acknowledge the hands that have guided it, and prepare together for the voyage ahead.

We’ll honour Rosalie’s contribution, and we’ll raise a glass to Elizabeth and Shaquille as they step into their new roles. Expect warmth, good company, big-hearted kōrero and a few surprises too.

(And, if you're unable to join us in person, we'd love for you to join us online via Zoom - register here).
