Portal of Serenity: A Soothing Journey
Event description
South Australia’s living visual artists are at our heart. Please join us at séjour club Hyde Park for Opening Night of SALA Festival introducing Artist Munmun DHAMIJA.
Artist Munmun Dhamija a contemporary self-taught emerging abstract/semi abstract artist working primarily with acrylics and textured media. Her artistic journey began in 2018, though creativity has been a part of her life since childhood. With recent study in fashion design, she gained knowledges which influenced her sense of form, colour, and composition.
Art is deeply personal to her - each painting reflects fragments of her own journey and experiences. She is passionate about exploring new techniques, styles, and mediums, continuously evolving and learning as an artist. Her work merges emotion and experimentation, offering viewers a glimpse into her world through abstract expression. For her, painting is not just an act of creation but a form of healing and transformation. Through layers of texture and abstraction, she aims to create spaces that offer both escape and connection.
Her painting collection is based on fantasy-inspired evoking surreal imagination, serenity, and dreamlike worlds to soothe mind and soul.
Join us as we celebrate Munmun's Art.
