Live at The Merc, Temecula - March 30th

Following the sold-out success of 2023's A Night of Music and Comedy with Jeff Dye, we're back at it for part two. 

Catch Chris Porter, the hilarious comedian who made a name for himself on Last Comic Standing and his three uproarious stand-up specials on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Helium! Known for his sharp wit and relatable humor, Chris is bringing his A-game to The Merc in Temecula for one unforgettable night of comedy.

Supporting the show:

  • Chris Mozy – a talented musician bringing a mix of original songs (streaming everywhere) as well as a few you're sure to know
  • Brendan Jay – a rising star in the comedy scene, hosting the night with his unique style of humor and impeccable impressions
  • Contest winner (TBA) - a local musician or band will win a chance to open this evening's events

This is a VERY small venue, so make sure to grab your tickets early before they sell out! All ages are welcome, but please note that there will be adult language and mature content.

About the artists:

Chris Porter
Best known for his 3rd place appearance on season 4 of NBC's Last Comic Standing and his one-hour special 'Ugly & Angry' that was one of Netflix's top rated specials for three years, you may also know this Kansas City native from his very own Comedy Central Presents special, his comedy albums 'Lost & Alone' and 'Screaming From the Cosmos', his appearances on Tommy Chong's Comedy @ 420 on Showtime, the Arsenio Hall show, Comedy.TV, or your favorite local comedy club.

Chris Porter is a simple man in a complicated world where dudes send pictures of their genitalia to women and burgers have a backstory. Born and raised in Kansas City, Chris brings a true stand-up experience to his live shows. There are no sound cues, no puppets, and no catch phrases. Just gut wrenching laughter drawn from his own experience and observations.

Chris Mozy (musician)
As a versatile singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist weaving a captivating blend of pop, rock, indie, and alt-country sounds, Chris Mozy designs songs that resonate with diverse audiences. Drawing inspiration from experiences having come up in Southern California's vibrant music scene, he honed his craft in bands alongside seasoned talents, including a founding member of No Doubt. 

Other notable collaborations have elevated Chris' music to new heights, with acclaimed producer Stevie Benz (The Rocket Summer, Corey Ward, and Rookie of the Year) bringing a polished edge to his sound. This immersive musical background has resulted in songs that seamlessly blend ultra-catchy melodies, playful yet introspective lyrics, and dynamic arrangements.

With styles ranging from the infectious energy of pop-rock to the heartfelt storytelling of alt-country, Mozy's songs have caught the attention of music enthusiasts who appreciate artists like Dan + Shay, Third Eye Blind, Hunter Hayes, and All-American Rejects.

Riding a rich musical journey that continues to evolve, Chris Mozy is poised to leave a lasting imprint on the music landscape, captivating listeners with each new release and live performance.

Brendan Jay (comedian)
Philadelphia born and raised, Brendan eventually joined the Navy and is currently stationed in San Diego, CA where he features as a stand-up comedian, celebrity impressionist and voice actor. He’s performed all over Southern California, Las Vegas and Florida. Brendan brings that Jim Carrey energy to the stage acting out spot on impressions of celebrities combined with playful observations on dating and military life.
