Portraits to Music: Bring your prop

Join me for an hour-and-a-half of fast, fun portrait sketching on Zoom.

Participants take turns appearing on screen for the length of a song while the rest of us sketch. When the music changes, so does the portrait.

This isn't about producing finished drawings or perfect likenesses. The short poses encourage us to loosen up, work quickly and enjoy the surprises that happen when we stop overthinking and simply draw.

All drawing media are welcome — pencil, pen and ink, watercolour, coloured pencil, Procreate or whatever you enjoy using.

If you'd like to pose for a song or two, wonderful. If you'd rather simply sketch, that's perfectly fine too.

The playlist will be shared after the session so you can revisit the music — and perhaps the memories of the evening's sketches — whenever you like.
