Portside Christian College's performance of Graceland
Event description
The McKenzies used to be a happy family, mum and dad and the three children, Todd, Kelly and Shelly. But then tragedy struck, and now everything is different. Mum has gone, Todd and Kelly have left, and Shelly is left at home with a grieving Dad.
Kelly, feeling lost, decides to go to Graceland, the home where Elvis Presley lived with his happy family. She hopes to find some guidance which can help her find some direction and happiness for her life. She meets other tourists who have their own stories, and makes a surprising discovery which has the potential to change the trajectory of her life.
What decision will Kelly make, and how will this decision impact her other family members? Will Graceland end up being a ‘land of Grace’?
This production is a brand-new musical, based on a script by ‘The Skit Guys’ but with added scenes and newly written and adapted songs added. Don’t miss this opportunity to be the first ever to see the musical ‘Graceland … a journey to forgiveness’.
