Event description

Positive Impact Plan – Community Conversations

Join us for a community conversation about the future of tourism on Tasmania’s East Coast!

For us, by us – tourism plays a big role in life on the East Coast, but how do we make sure it supports the wellbeing of our community?

The Positive Impact Plan is about building an understanding of what the East Coast values as a community and ensuring that those things are nurtured, rather than compromised, by tourism activity.

Throughout April and May 2025episteme consulting, in collaboration with East Coast Tasmania Tourism (ECTT), will host a series of opportunities for the community and tourism industry to connect and share your views. This includes community conversation events and drop-in café sessions across the East Coast.

Community Conversations will explore what “positive impact” means in practice, share examples from both locally and around the world, and invite you to work with us to imagine ways to make the most of tourism to benefit our community.

Tea, coffee, and light catering will be provided—so come along, have a cuppa, and connect with your local community while being part of this important regional conversation.

Everyone is welcome.
