Positive Impact Tourism : Tasmania's Visitor Economy Strategy 2030 - ONLINE
Event description
The Tasmanian tourism industry and the Tasmanian Government are finalising a new joint destination management plan for Tasmania.Â
Our new 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy will continue the work progressed through the T21 Visitor Economy Action Plan, that has guided our industry response to the upheaval of Covid, while establishing a vision for Tasmania's tourism evolution though the remainder of the 2020s, and beyond.Â
At the heart of this vision, is our commitment to a Positive Impact Agenda - where tourism always aspires to have a positive impact on the lives of Tasmanians and on the Tasmanian landscape.Â
Throughout October, we will be talking to tourism operators and industry stakeholders across the State about what a Positive Impact agenda means for the industry at both a state and local level, and for individual businesses.Â
This is your opportunity to contribute to a shared vision for the future of Tasmanian tourism, and the opportunities and challenges for our industry in a post-Covid and post-Carbon world.Â
Joining this session will be senior representatives from Tourism Tasmania, TICT, and your Regional Tourism Organisation.Â
