Possum 'Paynesville Seafoods' Album Launch

Experience your first taste of a Paynesville summer with the launch of Possum' debut album 'Paynesville Seafoods'.

Described as "a fish and chip shop concept album", the record documents the ex-fishing town of Paynesville on Gunaikurnai Country on the Gippsland Lakes through a series of lakeside narratives. It will be celebrated with a very special full-album playthrough featuring Possum's quartet, string section and special guests!

Acclaimed as one of Naarm's most disarmingly honest and hilarious songwriters, Possum's brand of hyperlocal folk captivates audiences with tales of Victorian towns and cities. A modern take on Australian songs from the ‘60s folk revival, her music beautifully crafts humour and vulnerability to thread narratives through time and place.
