Postcard to yourself (with gratitude): Gratitude tree and self-compassion as a form of resilience.
The Gratitude Tree: Art for Happiness session aims to cultivate gratitude and positive emotions through a creative and interactive art activity.
The session begins with a brief discussion on the meaning and importance of gratitude, encouraging participants to reflect on what they appreciate in their lives. This activity promotes emotional wellbeing, resilience, and social connection in a safe and supportive environment.
The postcard serves as a reminder of our strength and intentions and a gentle nudge to return to it whenever life feels overwhelming.
This session is delivered by the Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).
