The City of Melbourne, together with our partner Climate Zeitgeist, is pleased to invite you to a business networking event where an expert panel will provide their view of key takeaways from the 29th Conference of Parties (COP 29).  Speakers who attended the event will contribute to an interactive panel session and will provide their analysis of what the decisions made at COP29 mean for Australian businesses.

In this session, we look to cover key outcomes from COP29, including highlights and the key decisions made in Baku, the implications for meeting Paris Commitment goals, potential opportunities and challenges for Australia's investment and capital flow for climate solutions and the role that Australia and Australian business may play in future COPs- including if Australia is successful in securing COP31.
