ABOUT OUR PANELISTS
Jessica from Slow Fashion Season
Jessica has always had an interest in fashion, whether it be sewing, studying, drawing or attending fashion exhibitions (the list goes on)!
She's volunteered across many fashion shows and events in Melbourne, including Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and now has recently joined the team at Slow Fashion Season (SFS) as a Community Management Host. Since the COVID lockdowns started in March, she's had more time to research and learn about the impacts of the fast fashion industry and cannot keep it to herself! By joining the team at SFS, she is helping spread the message to audiences across the world. Jessica believes we can enjoy fashion without causing harm to people or our planet.
Susannah from Zerrin
Susannah Jaffer is the founder of ZERRIN (zerrin.com), a Singapore-based company driving awareness of sustainable fashion & beauty. A media hub and marketplace working with a growing community of emerging brands, the platform is fast becoming Asia's  leading gateway to learn about and engage with ethical consumerism. A former magazine editor, in 2016 Susannah woke up to the colossal impact of the retail industry on people and the planet and was inspired to create change. After learning to heal her toxic relationship with her wardrobe and discovering the sustainable alternatives out there, she set out to build a company that would empower others to embark on the same journey.
Tina from Manrags
Tina Elias is the Co-Founder of MANRAGS,  the world’s first circular essentials brand. The Company was founded in 2016 and has evolved to be a progressive change agent -  leading the war on waste in Australia. Â
