3-3:30 pm Networking with light refreshments

3:30 pm Official start

Following the Warrnambool Multicultural Festival, join us for an engaging conversation exploring belonging, leadership and our shared future.

We’ll explore how a whole-of-community approach, strong partnerships and place-based support can turn cultural diversity into genuine belonging, unlock people's potential and build a more connected, inclusive and prosperous regional community.

Featuring an inspiring panel of speakers:

✨ Maria Dimopoulos AM — CEO, Settlement Council of Australia

✨ Louise Perry — Interim Multicultural Coordinator General, Multicultural and Multifaith Victoria

✨ Jasmin Herro — entrepreneur of Torres Strait Islander and Chinese heritage

✨ Daisy Ye — Co-founder and Director, Warrnambool Multicultural Association; Regional Lead, Deakin CREATE (Centre for Refugee Employment, Advocacy, Training and Education)

Together, our speakers will share their experiences and perspectives on:

Identity & Belonging: What does it mean to feel at home and truly belong in our community?

Leadership & Representation: How can people from diverse backgrounds have their voices heard and help shape our shared future?

From Diversity to Opportunity: How can we turn our cultural diversity into stronger communities, new opportunities and regional prosperity?

Building Connection Together: What can community leaders, organisations and individuals do to create a more inclusive, connected and welcoming region?

Whether you’re a community leader, service provider, multicultural community member, festival volunteer or participant, you are warmly invited to join the conversation.

Come along, listen, share your perspectives and be part of shaping a community where everyone has the opportunity to belong, contribute and thrive. ❤️
