Post-School Options | A panel discussion - Wed 19 Aug 7.30pm
Description
Join ACD for a FREE 90-minute online panel discussion on post-school options.
As young people approach the end of their school journey, many families begin thinking about what comes next.
This online panel is designed to support parents and carers to explore meaningful, practical pathways that can help their young person build a fulfilling life beyond school.
Hear from guest speakers who will share insights into a range of post-school options. This panel discussion is valuable whether or not your young person has an NDIS plan.
You’ll learn about
Volunteering as a post-school option
TAFE programs for young people with disability
Inclusive employment support
Our speakers will discuss how each option can support young people to develop skills, build confidence, and create meaningful daily routines.
The session will also provide guidance on the first steps families can take to support a positive and hopeful transition from school.
