About the parent panel:

Mandy Hose (panel MC) is mum to three daughters, including twins with disability. Formerly co-host of Too Peas In A Podcast, which talked about raising children with disability. Mandy was nominated for Australian of the Year in 2021 and co-wrote The Invisible Life of Us. She is a parenting consultant, specialising in sleep and settling.

Lara is the proud mum of a 21-year-old NDIS participant. She supports her daughter through weekly activities. This includes supported employment and running a microenterprise.

Kim is mum to a young adult NDIS participant. Her son attends a structured day centre, learning life skills, literacy and numeracy. He also attends a community-based program, and is supported 1:1.

Rose is a mum of three adult children. Her youngest son, 19, has an intellectual disability and some medical needs. She is his primary carer. He finished Year 12 at a specialist school and is now studying a Certificate I at TAFE.
