Mycology May is a great time to get out mushroom hunting and the Central Tablelands is a fantastic place for fungi lovers. There's a diverse array of species to be found in our Box Gum Grassy Woodlands and we look forward to welcoming both new and returning fungi hunters along for a fun and playful day.

Join us for a two-part adventure into the fascinating world of fungi!
In the morning we'll lead you on an immersive fungi foray amongst the trees of the box gum grassy woodlands around Cowra/ Conimbla. After our walk we'll head to Raintree Marra for a light lunch followed by an afternoon crafting mycologically-inspired pottery! Create a fungi themed pinch pot, platter or figurine while enjoying the company of your fellow mycophiles. Your pottery will be fired and glazed after the event.
Run Times:
10am - 12 noon: Fungi Foray, meeting point to be adviced (weather dependent)
12.30 meet for a light lunch at Raintree Marra.
1pm- 3.30pm pottery at Raintree Marra
What to bring:
* Weather-appropriate clothing including enclosed shoes.
* An apron or old shirt for the pottery workshop.
* Water bottle
Optional Extras:

* Mobile phone for Citizen Science Apps/ camera I.D etc.
