Childrens pottery make a plate workshop

This is a 1.5 hr creative, hands on workshop. This is a workshop where children can make a plate or trinket dish using clay. They can then imprint some shapes and textures, then paint a simple design.   They will then hand paint the creation using underglaze. Suitable for 7yrs and up. Each participant can produce one item to go through the firing processes. 

The creation will then dry, i will fire it, clear glaze it, then send it for it's final firing before being ready for collection.

The amazing space at Arteyrea here in Port Lincoln is the perfect venue.  Some  snacks are provided. Please bring along a water bottle.  

If your child is ready to take that next step in creating something using hand building this is a great introduction. Participant will receive 500 grams of clay to work your magic.  

While I have allocated 1.5hrs for this workshop, some children will finish earlier. Please be available for collecting your child after about an hour or if I send a message through letting you know that they have finished. 

The finished piece will be ready in 5 to 6 weeks after the workshop.
