Pottery for pooches - Build a bowl (September)
Event description
All ages welcome - kids under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by a paying adult. One adult can accompany multiple children.
Learn how to hand-build your very own bowl (or maybe a bowl for your furry friend!) from scratch or using a range of moulds, then paint your masterpiece and we’ll fire it - all clay, tools and advice provided. Not only will you learn a new skill and have an awesome handmade bowl to keep forever but you’ll also get the warm and fuzzies knowing 100% of your ticket money will be going to The Dog Project thanks to Clay Studios!
NOTE: You’ll need to climb one small set of stairs to get into the venue.
Parking: Please arrive 15 mins early to give yourself plenty of time to find parking - there are very limited spaces at Clay Studios (around the back), so you’ll likely need to find a spot on the road or a nearby side street. Nearest bus stop is 4 min walk (Des Swann Drive).
Collecting your bowl: All bowls will be clear glazed to preserve your design then fired. You’ll receive an email when they are ready - approx 3 weeks later. Clay Studios will do their absolute best to look after your bowls but clay can be unpredictable and it’s never guaranteed your piece will come out of the kiln exactly how it went in!
