Event description

Step into the tea house and a world of ceramics with our 2-hour beginner pottery class using wild clay, focusing on wheel throwing techniques. In this immersive experience, you'll learn the process of harvesting your own wild clay and the art of throwing clay on a potter's wheel, guided by an expert instructor every step of the way.

$120 per person

Discover the beauty and unpredictability of wild clay as you explore its unique qualities and textures.

During the class, you'll receive personalized instruction tailored to your skill level. Students will be taught fundamental techniques such as centering, pulling, and shaping clay to create your own functional pieces or artistic sculptures.

enjoy the lesson. Students will create 3 pieces each that will be glazed in our signature turquoise glaze. Your pieces are available to pick up 3-4 weeks after your session. Postage of items can be arranged at cost.
