Event description
POWER BOTANY 12: Birdwatching Edition
Queer Bushwalking Club with Solly AND Twilight Twitching with guest curator Henry Coleman
Meet at 3:00pm on the Eastern side of Mt Ku-ring-gai station.
We will walk down to Bobbin Head and do the boardwalk amongst the mangroves bringing us back to our starting point by about 7:30pm.
Bring binoculars if you have them. Please bring plenty of water (at least 2 L) and an afternoon snack.
Expect vibrant sandstone heath, deep estuarine valleys, secluded mangroves, and sweeping views up the Hawkesbury.
Henry Coleman is a lifelong birdwatcher and bird enthusiast. He's got an encyclopaedic knowledge of all our native birds and he loves to share that knowledge!
We will be walking on Darug land. This is and always will be Aboriginal land. Please be respectful of this land and think about indigenous peoples' ongoing care and connection to this land and waters.
