Join Lea Hannah Project Manager Powerful Pollinators, Dr Anna Carrucan, Second-generation beekeeper & botanist, ecologist & conservation agriculturalist and Dr Megan Halcroft from Bees Business, for a webinar to:
- Find out how pollinators can play a role in healthy gardens and farm enterprises;
- Discover how to encourage pollinator populations on your property;
- Be introduced to our new planting guides and how they can be used in gardens and on farm; and
- Find out how to apply for tree grants that support pollinator habitat restorations.

Speaker #2Â Dr Megan Halcroft from Bees Business
Dr Megan Halcroft began her PhD candidature at UWS in 2008, studying A. australis and their potential as an alternative (to the honey bee) crop pollinator. She has been looking at their foraging behaviour and energy expenditure, compared to other Australian stingless bee species. Read more about Megan here. Â

Lea Hannah is a pollination biologist fascinated by all aspects of plant-pollinator interactions and improving biodiversity within both natural and agricultural landscapes. Lea is a PhD candidate at Hawkesbury Institute for the Environment at Western Sydney University. Read more about Lea hereÂ
