Join us for the final Powerhouse Drinks of the year, a special event where Brookvale’s clean energy pioneers share their inspiring stories on the path to a sustainable, electrified future. This holiday gathering brings together local businesses, clean energy champions, and the Solar Alliance community for an evening of insights, inspiration, and networking!

Speakers Lineup:

• Chris Lee, Solar Champion and Solar Alliance Co-Founder
  Chris will kick off the evening with an inspiring vision for Powerhouse Brookvale, an Urban Renewable Energy Zone where local businesses save on energy costs by generating and storing clean energy. Since the Solar Alliance launch in 2022, Chris has led the charge toward 50% solar coverage of Brookvale’s roof space and a robust network of battery storage to power the area efficiently and sustainably. Hear about the progress so far and the exciting role of two-way tariffs and battery storage for local energy independence.
• John Dumay, Dad & Dave's Brewery
  A local icon, John Dumay (a.k.a. "Dad") of Dad & Dave’s Brewing will share how his family-owned brewery is tapping into solar power to brew their delicious beers sustainably. As a professor of accounting, John knows the numbers—and solar has been a game-changer for managing operational costs. Enjoy stories of unique brews (like their Blackforest Cake-inspired stout!) and how clean energy is transforming their business.
• Peter MacGregor  Director Hardware & General
  Spearheading one of the area’s most ambitious solar installations, Peter has led the charge to place solar PV systems on ten roofs across H&G’s sites, giving the company the largest combined solar capacity in Brookvale. Peter will inspire attendees with practical insights on maximizing returns on solar investments and navigating the path to a more sustainable future.

After these inspiring talks, there will be plenty of time for informal chats and Q&A, making this an invaluable opportunity to connect with fellow businesses, Solar Ambassadors, and clean energy champions.
