POWERLESSNESS TO PRESENCE: Responding to the State of the World | Workshop | ATTUNE Festival
Event description
The scale of global crises — war, displacement, political unrest and genocide — can leave us feeling powerless, helpless, and overwhelmed. Yet within these difficult emotions lies the possibility for connection, resilience, and meaningful response.
In this workshop, psychotherapist Gener Lapina (Mosaic Multicultural Connections), who works closely with refugees and migrant communities, offers a safe space to process the emotional weight of the world we live in. Through guided reflection and therapeutic practices, participants will explore how to acknowledge collective pain without being consumed by it, and how to transform feelings of despair into grounded presence and compassionate action.
This is a space for anyone struggling with the heaviness of the world, seeking tools to both tend to their inner world and engage with the outer one.
