Travel instructions

By train: Alight at Box Hill station on the Belgrave and Lilydale lines and go upstairs to the Box Hill Central bus terminal and get on Route 903 or 20`1. By bus: SmartBus Route 903 between Box Hill and Mentone services Deakin University via Elgar Road. Bus Route 201 runs as a shuttle bus between Deakin and Box Hill Station. Alight both routes at the Elgar Road bus stop for a 3-minute walk to Building LC. By tram: You can get off at Stop 63 - Deakin University on Route 75, although you will need to walk across campus (approximately 10 minutes) to get to Building LC. Please note Route 75 is entirely inaccessible high-floor trams and Stop 63 is accessible by stairs only. By car: For casual parking, download the Cellopark app on your phone and park in the white bays. Entry instructions

Enter Building LC at Deakin Burwood campus and turn left to the elevators. Proceed to Level 6 and turn right out of the elevators to enter Room LC6.109.

Once you're in the room, please feel free to get some pizza, throw your name in the hat if you're presenting, sit down, and relax!

Toilet location

Female, male, gender neutral, and accessible toilets are available on Level 6 next to the elevators.

Attending online

The event will be held using Zoom, and you can enable automatic closed captions if needed.

LC6.109 has an assisted hearing loop, please speak with staff if you need help using this.

Sensory room

The Disability Room will be open for those needing a quiet space. It is available in the basement next to the elevators (LCB1.002.03)
