Practice 101: Artist as Fundraiser
Join Arts Northern Rivers and Creative Australia for a free 2-hour fundraising workshop ideal for artists, producers and collectives looking to boost their knowledge, skills and confidence to strategically build supporter relationships and grow income from donations.
This workshop will cover:
- Building your case for support
- Mapping your network and prospects
- Cultivating relationships, making the ask, stewarding supporters
- Planning your fundraising campaign (individual donations)
- Using the Australian Cultural Fund (ACF) donations platform
- Information about fundraising programs and services provided by Creative Australia
This workshop is suitable for independent artists and producers, small collectives and sole traders.
About the facilitator:
Michelle Boyle is State Manager Development and Partnerships (NSW/ACT) at Creative Australia, helping to build the fundraising capability of artists and arts organisations in philanthropy and partnerships. Prior to this, Michelle was in fundraising roles at Sydney Dance Company for over 13 years.
