Hi, I'm Alice! Join me for a calming and rejuvenating program focused on relieving the effects of stress and building resilience through the practice of pranayama.

Pranayama is a yogic practice that involves breath control to enhance physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Pranayama techniques involve consciously regulating the breath through various patterns of inhaling, exhaling and breath retention or suspension. These ancient breathing methods can help reduce anxiety, clear the mind, increase lung capacity and bring balance to the body's energy systems.

Over 6 weeks you will learn and practice various pranayama techniques that focus on balancing the nervous system, promote relaxation and enhance mental clarity. When the body is in balance, it allows for space and time to heal itself. We will be building upon the skills learned each week, and you will be given detailed explanations on how to continue these practices on your own at home.

WHEN: 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings starting 15 July until 19 August 2025

TIME: 5.30pm - 7 pm (90 minutes)

WHERE: Classes are online via Zoom - link will be emailed out one day prior to each class

COST: $320. Cost includes access to pre-recorded information sessions and 6 weeks of live online practice sessions.

HOW TO PREPARE:

Please have these things handy for your practice

  • water bottle

  • journal and writing material

  • shawl or small blanket

  • wear loose, comfortable clothing

  • anything you need to make yourself comfortable for sitting and lying on the floor or in a chair

Pranayama is best practiced on an empty stomach. Please eat only a light snack prior to the class if needed.

No prior experience is necessary. This program is suitable for all levels, whether you're new to pranayama or have practiced before. You'll leave feeling more centred, relaxed and empowered to manage stress in your daily life.
