A Little About James & Carolynn:
James and Carolynn Webb with their children Toby and Gabriel have lived in Zalla, Vizcaya since 2018. They are planting a church in the Las Encartaciones region which has a population of 38,000 with no established evangelical church. They are working alongside the Aldana family.Â
Their team has opened a Christian guesthouse in their town for people walking the Camino de Santiago. Their aim is to serve local people and pilgrims with the love and hospitality of Jesus. To find out more or partner with the Casa Camino Antiguo Guesthouse project, click here.
Spain & ECM
The Roman Catholic church has lost much of its historical influence. Because of the link with the Franco-regime, along with some other things, the church has lost much of its credibility, even among Catholics.
In the vacuum left by the church have emerged atheism, materialism, occultism and many other ideologies among the Spaniards. A strong evangelical testimony is much needed.
ECM longs for the different church planting projects to bear fruit and that the strength of the Gospel will be seen and heard more and more in the Spanish society.
ECM works in the provinces of Cordoba, Castellon/Valencia, Madrid, Catalonia and in Basque Country. There are several church planting projects and social outreach programs.Â
