Prayers & Meditations for COP31

Join us online each day during COP31, from 9–20 November, 11:00–11:30am AEST, for a shared moment of peace, hope and goodwill for Mother Earth and the global climate negotiations.

Dedicated to Mother Earth and COP31, Prayers & Meditations for COP Conferences brings people of different faiths and spiritual traditions together in a shared offering for our planet and our collective future.

Each 30-minute gathering begins with a short reflection from one of Australia’s faith leaders, followed by approximately 20 minutes of silent contemplation. Together, we hold the Earth in our thoughts and offer prayers, meditation and good wishes for wisdom, cooperation and positive outcomes in the COP31 negotiations.

All are welcome, regardless of faith or spiritual tradition.

This is the fourth year that Prayers & Meditations for COP has been offered as a multi-faith initiative in Australia, with the support of the Interfaith Liaison Committee (ILC), a special group formed under the UNFCCC in 2013.
