    PREACHING WORKSHOP

    For any preacher who wishes to grow and develop in their preaching. 

    The basic format will be a guided and interactive engagement with Abraham Kuruvilla’s 2019 book - A Manual for Preaching. This is not so much a textbook as a point of departure for wider reflections on the preaching task. 

    To get the most out of the workshop, participants are encouraged to:

    • Attend in person (although streaming online is also available)
    • Attend all 8 sessions over the course of the year

    Session Details:

    Tuesday Evenings, 19:00-21:00 - 8 Sessions (2 Per Term)

    • Term 1 - 07 March, 28 March 
    • Term 2 - 09 May, 20 June
    • Term 3 - 01 August, 12 September
    • Term 4 - 24 October, 21 November

    Prices:

    Take advantage of the packaged price for 7 or 8 sessions. Otherwise a taster session allows you to experience the workshop for a discounted price. Subsequent single sessions are available for purchase for those who can not commit to the entirety of the course. Special prices are also available for groups, so please get in touch if this is you.

    • Individual - $25 for 1 taster session (limit of one per person)
    • Individual - $35 for 1 session
    • Individual - $175 for 7 sessions
    • Individual - $200 for 8 sessions
    • Group Prices - price on request

    About Marc Rader:

    Marc is the Senior Pastor at Gymea Baptist Church and has been on staff at Gymea since 1997. He is also a faculty member at Morling College, the Baptist theological college of NSW & ACT where he teaches in Biblical Studies and Preaching.
