Precious Colours...presented by the Marais Project

Music is all about colour: the infinitely variable colour of sound entwined with the energy of live performance. Founded in 2000 by Jennifer Eriksson, The Marais Project was created to highlight the unique tone colour of the viola da gamba which blends effortlessly with the voice and plucked instruments.

Precious Colours is inspired by the title of first track of The Marais Project’s new album, a work by composer Alice Chance. The album, ‘Australian Monody’, will be formally released at this special event.
