Precision Tumbling: Elevate Your Technique

Join us for "Precision Tumbling: Elevate Your Technique," a collaborative workshop led by Persia Janzen Coaching and Kara Roscioli Coaching. Over two weekends, we will dedicate 2 hours each session to refining your tumbling skills with a focus on fundamental shapes and specific techniques for dancers. Our goal is to enhance your tumbling ability, making it both more effective and safer for dancers on any dance floor. Whether you are building your foundation or looking to polish your advanced skills, this workshop is designed to support your growth and confidence in tumbling.
For ages 8 - 16yrs

1 ticket is for both Sundays (23rd and 30th June) in your selected session

Class Levels and Requirements

Foundational Techniques: 9am to 11am Sunday 23rd and 30th June
This class is designed for dancers who are working on establishing and refining their tumbling basics. 

Participant Prerequisites:

• Walkovers
• Working on side aerials
• Cartwheel Snaps and roundoffs
• Minimum age 8yrs (unless already taught by Kara or Persia)
  

Participants Will Work On:

• Walkover variations
• Safe back flexibility practices
• Side aerial drills and variations
• Back handspring drills
• Creating dynamic roundoffs and cartwheels for skill connections

Enhanced Techniques: 11.15am to 1.15am Sunday 23rd and 30th June
This class is for dancers who have a solid foundation and are ready to advance their tumbling skills.

Participants should meet the following prerequisites:

• Can already perform a side aerial
• Can do a back handspring unspotted on the floor
• Can perform a front aerial unpostted or spotted
• Can perform a back sault spotted or unspotted
• Minimum age 10yrs (unless already taught by Kara or Persia)

• Acro dance connection skills
• Safe flexibility practices
• Skill variations for tumbling on hard floors
• Tumble passes
