A tender & affirming community space of shared experience and grief, for bereaved mothers who have loved & lost an angel ~ to honour you, your babies, and all the ways they live on in your heart.

October marks Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month.
During my time in womb work, I have supported countless women who have survived these deep losses. I have honoured their wombs, held space for their stories, provided healing touch after their bodies & souls had travelled through a version of matrescence and postpartum - without their baby to hold on Earth.

So I already had the highest reverence, compassion, and affirmation for the mothers who had grieved their angels, knowing how common it truly was (even if unspoken publicly), and the strength it took to survive it, in a world that kept turning without them - a humble witness to the heartbreak & pain they still carried in their bodies long after - yet still, nothing could have prepared me for the ache + emptiness of loss myself.

There is a deep need to express and be heard, without feeling like we are making others feel uncomfortable, or soliciting the unhelpful comments or the toxic positivity that we know all too well.

Because I’m sure many of you can relate, to all the ways we are constantly reminded of what we’ve lost - physically, emotionally, societally. At times even those closest to you, don’t seem to be able to offer the understanding that you need. And it doesn’t matter how many people you know that have been through it - it still feels so utterly isolating. Our society has a very warped aversion to dealing with death & loss, for fear that it keeps us stuck in the past.

This is about providing a gentle & open space for bereaved mothers to perhaps, for the first time, feel all the ways that they SHOULD have been loved, acknowledged & supported at the time. No matter how long ago your loss was, whether you have other living children or not, or at what gestation you lost your baby ~ your grief + sadness is still valid.

But above all, as mothers would know, it’s not just about the impact on one’s self - its about our babies deserving to be celebrated and remembered, to continue to be spoken about.

To pay it forward to an organisation that supports bereaved parents in the depths of pregnancy & infant loss (whom made me feel so acknowledged and thought of, during my own) ~ 15% of proceeds for this circle will be donated to @bearsofhope. 🐻 There is also the option when you purchase a ticket through the link, to donate an additional amount of your choosing, if called to do so.

THIS IS AN OUTDOOR CIRCLE. PLEASE DRESS FOR THE ELEMENTS.
If a little rain or wind comes our way, l challenge us to embrace it and let nature lovingly cleanse us! There's honestly nothing more healing sometimes.

EXACT LOCATION within the reserve will be emailed to ticketholders on the day.

PLEASE BRING:
- a cushion
- journal & pen
- water bottle
- any item or symbol that represents your baby/babies
- a warm jumper, blanket or shawl in case there is an ocean breeze
- BYO warm, soothing drink in a thermos if you wish (tea, cacao) - totally optional!
