Prelim English (Essay Writing) Year 12 2026 Kickstarter [ONLINE]

In this HSC Kickstarter Holiday Workshop, we’re going to help you master Essay Writing for the HSC English Syllabus! In this 3 hour workshop we’re going to help you:

• Write a Band 6 HSC English Essay for Year 11 and 12

• Craft a compelling thesis statement

• Identify key ideas to explore in your essay

• Write a clear, succinct introduction

• Construct relevant, insightful analysis of your texts

• Craft topic and linking sentences

• Round out your essay with a clear conclusion

Why is it important to master this now?

Since students are no longer able to memorise essays under the new HSC syllabus, understanding the structure and key components of essay writing is more important than ever. This workshop will provide students with the tools they need to write band 6 essay responses for the common module, Module A and Module B.
