Struggle with creative writing for English? Have no idea where to start when it comes to writing a story?

In this 2.5 hour workshop during the school holidays we’re going to help you:

• Master the context, audience, and purpose of your prescribed text
• Learn how to break down creative writing stimuli and questions
• Answer the question: “How do I figure out what to write?”
• Avoid cliches and develop sophisticated creative writing skills
• Tackle the reflection statement
• Get familiar with common exam questions

Why is it important to master this now?

Memorising creative writing pieces for assessments can only take you so far. Students need to be building up their writing skills and ability to adapt their ideas to specific stimuli and question types. This takes time! So the best time to work on this is now before things count in Year 12!
