Prenatal Drop-In: Summer 2025 (Single Day: In-Person)
Event description
Open to any pregnant person and their support person or partner.
This group meets to discuss topics including life changes, strategies for comfort, wellness and managing stress, and finding resources for pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum care.
Join us on on July 13/25, at Ode'imin (603 St. Mary's Road), from 10:00am till 4:00pm to review the following core topics from our regular Prenatal Drop-In sessions:
- Late Pregnancy and Early Labour
Explore the final stages of pregnancy and early signs of labor.
Gain information to help you feel prepared and confident as you approach your baby’s arrival.
- Labour and Delivery
Learn the stages of labor, gain understanding of the labor process, and learn coping skills. Empower yourself with information to navigate your birthing experience with confidence.
- Caring for Yourself After Baby's Birth
Talk about what to expect in the initial time after baby is born, ways to manage both physical and emotional changes, and community resources to help.
IN-PERSON:
- Ode’imin (603 St. Mary’s Road)
- Registration appreciated, drop-in welcome.
- A healthy snack and bus tokens will also be available.
- There is free parking in the front lot at Ode'imin (603 St. Mary's Road)
