Preparing for Feral Pigs in Nillumbik

Feral pigs have been identified in Nillumbik and are a major threat to biodiversity and agriculture in the Shire.

Early detection and eradication are essential to prevent this species establishing in Nillumbik.

Join us for an information session with Jason Wishart, Biosecurity Manager for Established Invasive Species at Agriculture Victoria to learn about feral pig ecology and how to spot pig damage on your property. Jason will also demonstrate best practice application of key control techniques including trapping and baiting.
