Press Event at Shirley Chisholm Public Library

Join us for press and tabling event at the Honorable Shirley Chisholm Public Library, formerly the Audubon Library, focused on the programs, policies, and organizations that are building resiliency and sustainability in Western New York’s agriculture and food systems. Assembly Member Karen McMahon will join the event to speak about New York State’s investment in the region and the importance of sustaining strong food access infrastructure for local communities. In addition, Library Director Beth Staebell will speak about Shirley Chisholm’s role as congressional architect of the WIC program.
