Spring: Pretty Weird Emergence
Event description
It’s the Spring Equinox here in the Southern Hemisphere.
The tipping of the light and the changing of the season reminds us we’re part of cycles, thresholds and rhythms far bigger than we can understand.
Spring is the season of pretty weird emergence. Of scrappy, uncertain beginnings. Where we plant seeds and hope some of them take root. Growth may feel fragile and a teeny bit terrifying.
And amid these tentative new beginnings the world keeps unravelling in many ways.
(...collapse and cherry blossom and despair and bees and chaos and daffodils and destruction and birdsong and death and hope and lies and dazzling flowers and fear and the faintest, fleeting flicker of possibility...)
The Work That Reconnects offers us ways to hold and share all this. Join us for a spiral gathering as we:
Pause with the season at its precious balancing point
Make space for our gratitude, our grief, our hopes, our fears
Seeing this wild time we’re in with new eyes
Wonder what tiny, stubborn, pretty or weird next step is asking to be taken
Bring the parts of yourself that have felt exiled and bewildered as everyone rushes around like everything is fine. We wanna see all of you.
We meet on Zoom. Cute pets & kids welcome on your lap.
Gathering offered by donation.
