Pretzel Bender 51!
Since 1974 fun-loving people have been gathering on the first Monday after Independence day at Laack's Tavern & Ballroom in Johnsonville, Wisconsin. Join in this year as we all celebrate 51 years of Pretzel Bender. Complete with live music by The Goodtime Dutchmen (beginning at 9pm), your favorite beverages on tap, the famous Smoked Beef Tongue by D&D Meats just up the street, cheese & crackers, good food by the Johnsonville Volunteer Fire Department and of course... Pretzels!
And this year we are adding pretzel cornhole games, souvenir t-shirts, soft pretzel sticks and more!
Stay for the famous Midnight Parade! Anyone can create a parade entry - make a float or wear something crazy, or walk with a group of like-minded party goers. The fan favorite "float" will win $100 cash.
So - get that vacation day scheduled for July 8th, gather your neighbors, relatives and friends and come out for the best time you'll ever have on a Monday night!
No charge to attend - but do spend freely as we will be donating a portion of the profits to local charities! Remember to tip your bartenders and please indulge responsibly.
