We all have the right to feel safe at home and in our community. Yet, many older people experience abuse, and recognising the signs can be challenging. Conversations about abuse can be difficult, and knowing where to turn for support isn’t always clear.
Join us for the official launch of the Preventing Abuse of Older People Response Toolkit, developed by Northern Integrated Family Violence Services, Western Integrated Family Violence Committee, and Holstep Health.
This practical resource is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and tools to recognise and respond to the abuse of older people, fostering a community where people of all ages are safe, valued, and respected.

- Specialist and non-specialist family violence practitioners working under MARAM
- Aged care sector professionals
- Clinicians and organisational leaders who may encounter potential cases of elder abuse
