Event description

Preventing gender-based violence begins with recognising that everyone deserves the freedom to live and express themselves authentically. By celebrating diversity and creating inclusive spaces, we build safer, more respectful communities for all.

Join us for our 16 Days of Activism webinar with keynote speaker Starlady from the Zoe Belle Gender Collective, alongside guests Jackson Fairchild (Inclusion Specialist), and Ellen Poyner (Our Watch), as they share key resources, and explore how individuals and workplaces can play a meaningful role in preventing gender-based violence.

Presented in partnership by Women’s Health Loddon Mallee, City of Greater Bendigo, Thorne Harbour Country and Greater Bendigo Against Family Violence, this webinar is for anyone interested in becoming a gender equality advocate and taking action to prevent gender-based violence. Everyone has a role to play in creating lasting change which impacts individuals, families, organisations, governments, businesses, systems, and whole communities.
