Calling all 🌈 golfers! ⛳️
Whether you're a seasoned golfer or picking up a club for the very first time, join us for a fun and inclusive 9-hole golf competition!
This beginner-friendly event is all about meeting new people and having plenty of laughs along the way. The course will be closed to the public for the afternoon, so you can enjoy a safe outdoor space.
Don't feel like tackling the golf course? No problem! You can join the fun with a round of mini golf instead. Your ticket includes your round of golf (or mini golf), the chance to win fantastic prizes and light refreshments after the game while everyone relaxes and celebrates.
This event is proudly open to all members of the 🌈 LGBTQIA+ community and their allies. Come along, make new friends and enjoy a welcoming day of golf, community and fun!

FAQs
- I dont play golf - can I still attend?
If you'd like to play in the main competition, we expect players to have at least a basic knowledge of how to play golf and be able to hit a ball.
But ... don't worry if golf isn't your thing!
Goanna Mini Golf is available onsite and you're more than welcome to enjoy a round there instead. You'll still be part of the day's fun, social atmosphere and post-game celebrations.
- I dont have any golf clubs - can I still play?
Every player for the main game of golf will be expected to play with a set of clubs. If you do not have your own clubs, Point Walter has a limited number of sets of golf clubs, trollies and carts available for rental. Please contact Point Walter Golf Club directly to arrange the rental.
Goanna Mini Golf supplies the putters and balls to play with.
- How fit do I need to be to play?
Point Walter Golf Course is 2,600m long and there are some hills involved. A basic level of fitness will be required.
There are a limited number of golf carts available for hire on the day - please contact the course directly to arrange hire.
There is a good chance it will be hot on the day. There will be water and refreshments available, but please ensure you bring a water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
